"The Winged State" No Limits Theatre
Wednesday 7 November at 1:30pm and 8pm
You have the dream again; you are flying, flying.
Suddenly the wind spills, spins, throws you and you are falling, falling,
falling.
On a remote floating island, the Labyrinth Institute experiments with
cutting edge technologies free from the constraints of national law and
morality. Its desire is to create designer babies, clones, and offer extreme
plastic surgery from horns to tails to wings, all for a king's ransom.
For one young man the monstrous experiments carried out on the island
become too much. Icarus has seen his father's soul destroyed by the
Labyrinth, blackmailed to work on its grisly experiments. But when they set
out to flee their living nightmare, will they fly or will they fall?
Inspired by the myth of the boy who flew too close to the sun, 'The Winged
State' is a compelling story with a message for our time, brought to life
through No Limits' beautifully crafted and unique style of visual theatre.

a hypnotic use of dance to an original score.'

darkness...
How will William ever get to sleep when there are monsters hiding in the
walls?
Following the national and international successes of The Gruffalo and The
Snow Dragon, Tall Stories returns with a brand new show for ages three and
up. Storytelling, comedy and songs create a riotous world where friends are
found in unlikely places... AGE 3 TO 7

Here's the latest news from 'The Round'
Coming soon we have "Little India" by Trestle Theatre Company. Friday 5th
October at 7:30pm. A tale of love and loss, mischief and mayhem...
Trestle is back with sumptuous storytelling theatre, vibrant visuals, and
powerful physical action.
Two people meet and quickly fall in love, but one leaves and forgets, while
the other is left holding their child. Passionate battles ensue in this
heart-stopping story of a broken family searching to reconcile their
different worlds.
Influenced by South Indian traditions of Kalaripayattu (martial art),
Konokol (rhythmic patterns) and mudras (hand gestures), Trestle re-imagines
the classical story of Shakuntala for a contemporary time; combining ancient
arts with modern words, and inspirational music from India.
