Be transported into the wondercrump world of Dahl and Blake in an exhibition which promises to be as exciting and dramatic as the characters themselves.

Up to Mischief with Horrid Henry!
Let Horrid Henry and Perfect Peter be your guides as you come face to face with some of literature's best-loved naughty characters in this naughty new exhibition. Look for adventure with Peter Rabbit, get into trouble with Clarice Bean or break all the rules with Just William and Pippi Longstocking!
Stories about naughty characters have been told for centuries and this interactive exhibition explores why they have so much appeal. Just make sure you're on your best behaviour or you might even get sent to the naughty children's room!

From Toad Hall to Pooh Corner
Amble down to Seven Stories this summer and you’ll be sure to stumble across some old friends and familiar faces. From Badger, Mole and Ratty to Eeyore, Piglet and Pooh visitors can waste the day away in the country, when in fact they’re just outside the heart of Newcastle.
Venture through the wild wood to Badger’s Kitchen or ride in Toad’s car. Visit Pooh Corner, search for Heffalumps and Woozles, and admire original manuscripts and illustrations. A celebration of the Centenary edition of The Wind in the Willows, this exhibition provides the perfect setting for families of all ages to make their own adventure!

Summer Story Party
Drop-in to our Summer Story Parties for themed stories, rhymes, games and drawing, especially for our younger visitors. Children can embark on their own adventure, exploring the pleasure of storytelling in a relaxed environment. There will be ideas and tips for sharing stories and linked activities to do at home with your children.
For children aged 18 months to 5 years, each session is flexible, depending on audience, and will last no more than an hour.
Mondays and Wednesdays from 21 July at 10.15am, excluding bank holidays.

Story Trail
Saturday 12 July – Sunday 31 August
Create your own story as you journey up and down the seven floors at Seven Stories, building up characters, landscapes and content as you go. Be inspired by boats and the riverside as your finish your trail out on the Ouseburn River – but how will you get there.

Ouseburn Festival Weekend
Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 July
Journey down to Seven Stories over the Ouseburn Festival weekend and help build an imaginative willow boat structure. The sculpture will be crafted over the weekend and will dock in the Seven Stories Engine Room over the summer holidays. For full details of the festival visit www.ouseburnfestival.org
Boat Sculpture

Bring the Seven Stories willow boat sculpture to life by adding your own piece of work. From mast to fag pole, decking to side panel, the whole family can enjoy adding their own piece of creativity to this magical boat.
