Spring Glass Classes at Mushroom Works
A Unique chance to work alongside one of the regions leading glass artist, Sarah Blood. Sarah will be leading workshops for people of all levels in the art of glass making, sharing her knowledge, and helping you to develop your own work.

Beginners:
Use different coloured glass and fusing techniques to create unique glass art pieces, window panels, jewellery and coasters.
Beginners sessions £25
includes tool, materials and refresments

Intermediate:
Using fusing and slumping techniques to create a unique piece of 3dimensional glass art
Intermediate sessions £35
Includes tools, materials, refreshments and multiple kiln firings.

Beginner's sessions Thursday 8th and 15th March
Intermediate Sessions Thursday 22ndand 29th March
Sessions to be held from 6-9pm at Mushroom Works

All work made in class will be fired and ready for collection the following Thursday from Mushroom Works.

Pottery making was one of the early industries in the Lower Ouseburn Valley . If you’d like to try it for yourself why not investigate the courses available at the Ouseburn Pottery.

The pottery is located just round the corner from the Cluny , on the path leading down to the river. Courses last for ten weeks and run pretty much all year round. Check out the attached for details.
